Your Engineer of Record may change. Your monitoring history should stay with you.

With BLU, each month’s readings join one continuous monitoring record.

Refresh your trends, and generate monthly reports, with quarterly and annual summaries.

Correct a value without losing the original. Keep the changes, reasons, and sources.

When your Engineer of Record changes, export the full monitoring history, revisions, and attached source documents in one portable pack.

Clear records. Easier handovers. Message BLU Specialist Consulting to explore a pilot for your facility.

CONTINUITY THROUGH CHANGE

A growing record.
A clearer handover.

Years of monitoring information should remain accessible when responsibilities change. Connect supplied readings with their sources and corrections, so the history remains available beyond the latest report.

01 / RECORD

Keep the months together.

Monthly readings join a continuous monitoring history. Supplied source documents stay associated with the records they support.

02 / REPORT

See the trends.

Monthly reports and quarterly and annual summaries bring the supplied data into a consistent reporting view.

03 / RETAIN

Keep the changes visible.

Corrections retain the original entry, revised values and recorded reasons, supporting a clearer account of how the records changed.

AN EXAMPLE OF THE REPORTING VIEW

See the current month.
Keep the longer view.

This illustrated dashboard uses synthetic freeboard readings to show a current-month value alongside a rolling trend and supplied, dated references.

Reporting periods can change without discarding earlier records. Quarterly and annual summaries provide a broader view of the data held.

This is a demonstration, not a facility assessment. The EOR sets engineering criteria and interprets performance. Supplied references are not engineering limits derived by BLU.

WHEN RESPONSIBILITIES CHANGE

A portable monitoring history.

Export the full monitoring history held in the system, irrespective of the current chart window, in one ZIP pack.

RECORDS

The history held.

A records workbook containing current monthly and drain readings, together with the facility and supplied-reference registers.

REVISIONS

The changes behind it.

Original and corrected entries, revision histories and recorded reasons for changes, including register revisions.

SOURCES

The supporting documents.

Attached source documents, source descriptions and a file manifest. Extract the whole pack to preserve relative document links.

This is the monitoring-records component of an EOR handover. Other engineering, design and as-built records must still be supplied as required.

CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the EOR’s review.

MINE / CLIENT

Supply the records.

Provide readings, source documents, approved reference information and relevant facility changes.

BLU

Organise and report.

Maintain the supplied monitoring history, record corrections and prepare the agreed factual reports and export pack.

ENGINEER OF RECORD

Set criteria. Interpret.

Retain responsibility for engineering criteria, interpretation and the engineering response to the reported information.

STANDARD PACKAGE PRICING

A defined package.
A scope agreed together.

For the standard monitoring records and reporting package, including monthly reports, quarterly and annual summaries, revision history, agreed records storage and handover exports.

Onboarding and additional services are quoted separately. The final scope and fee will be confirmed against the facility’s records and reporting requirements before the pilot begins.

MONITORING RECORDS & REPORTING

Targeting US$300–$400per facility per month

The standard package includes:

  • Monthly readings and supplied source documents organised into one history
  • Monthly reports, with quarterly and annual summaries
  • Correction and revision records
  • Storage of the agreed monitoring records and attached sources
  • Export of the monitoring history held in the system

OPTIONAL SERVICE · QUOTED SEPARATELY

Piezometer records & trend reporting

Keep individual instrument histories together and see trends across each embankment.

The optional reporting package can include water-level elevations calculated from supplied reference information, individual instrument graphs, embankment summaries, and a record of instrument or reference-level changes.

Where supplied, EOR-defined trigger levels can be displayed alongside the readings. Engineering interpretation remains with the EOR.

Quoted separately according to instrument numbers, reading frequency and the preparation needed for existing records.

BEFORE THE DEMONSTRATION

A practical starting point.

How do we access our reports and monitoring history?

The standard service provides monthly reports, quarterly and annual summaries, with monitoring records and supporting documents maintained together. A portable export pack makes the history held available for your team and incoming EOR.

The standard package does not include an online client portal. If your facility requires browser-based dashboards or online access to records, we can discuss a separately scoped solution, with development, hosting and ongoing support quoted independently.

How quickly will we receive our monthly reports?

Once onboarding is complete, we target delivery within two working days of receiving the complete monthly data and supporting information in the agreed format.

If information is missing or needs clarification, we will let you know promptly and confirm the delivery date. Turnaround for quarterly and annual summaries, historical data preparation and additional services is agreed separately.

Can we include earlier monitoring records?

We can review the available historic data and source documents during onboarding, then agree what can be included and any preparation needed. The export contains the records held in the system; it cannot recover records that have not been supplied.

Does the service replace our Engineer of Record?

No. BLU organises and reports supplied data. Your EOR remains responsible for engineering criteria and interpretation. The reporting does not replace facility inspections, engineering review or operational response procedures.

What will be agreed for the pilot?

The facility, supplied measurements, report periods, source documents, data volume, correction workload and process, storage allowance, retention, support arrangements, responsibilities and handover requirements. Backup and recovery arrangements will also be confirmed before client use.
